Sleep Lab


PSG & PG systems are systems used to diagnose and classify sleep breathing disorders in the laboratory or home environment. The system collects and analyzes the data through electrodes connected to the body.
AASM (American Academy of Sleep Medicine) Classification
Level 1: PSG with technician participation in sleep lab; 1-4 Lead EEG, EOG, EMG, EKG, Air Flow, Respiratory Effort, On-line and simultaneous recording of cardio-respiratory parameters such as Oxygen Saturation, Snoring
Level 2: PSG portable, suitable for hospital and home use, with at least 7 channels (EEG, EOG, EMG, EKG / Pulse, air flow, respiratory effort, oxygen effort)
Level 3: PG portable, sleep apnea test, with a minimum of 4 channels (air flow, respiratory effort, ECG / Pulse, oxygen saturation)
Level 4: Scanning, single or double bioparameter recording in continuous mode with recording of airflow or breathing effort Significant AHI or RDI with at least 4 channels
